Less scratching for dog Spike

Spike really likes the sweets. He gets 4 a day, we put 2 on the coffee table in the evening and he takes them off himself. Must be tasty.
I also have the impression that he scratches less, but maybe this is too fast to see results and I'm imagining it.
He is sensitive to chickens, so we have to be careful about what we give him.
